S. C. Woman Stabs Fiancé Over Wedding Color Scheme
So read the headlines of a recent Associated Press article. The article told how there was a squabble on Christmas day and the wife to be stabbed her fiancé in the chest. She was detained in jail with a $10,000 bond. Thankfully the man’s wound was not life threatening. You wouldn’t give a marriage like this much hope for survival (if they decide to go through with their wedding plans). Too many marriages now days are in jeopardy and are fragilely clinging to life on life support. Many couples are struggling in their relationships and their hopes for marital success look about as bleak as this South Carolina couple. We have some courses in our BBN Bible Institute that can be a source of help and hope to your marriage and family. Perhaps your marriage or that of someone you care about could use some godly wisdom or a tune-up for 2014.
January is a great time of year to begin a new study or to try something different by way of personal devotion time in God’s word. Our BBN courses may be the perfect option (BBNBI.org). The following are a few course possibilities.
20300 Love In The Home -- Dr. Richard Strauss20800 Communications In The Family -- Mark Lee 21700 Relationships - Avoiding Potholes -- Dr. Mark Bailey
