On Pause Too Long?
|
On Pause Too Long? One famous leader is known for saying, Every worthy act is difficult. Ascent is always difficult. Descent is easy and often slippery. Alexander Hamilton wrote, People sometimes attribute my success to my genius; all the genius I know anything about is hard work. And Napoleon Hill taught: Effort only fully releases its reward after a person refuses to quit.
The greatest achievers and the wisest of people understand that success is the result of hard work, commitment and tenacity. Most people who've ever reached an important goal, somewhere along the road had to pause and recalculate; they had to ignore the inviting, flashing exit signs to procrastination and ease and then resume their purposeful pursuit.
Where are you in your personal study of the Bible? Are you climbing, progressing? Have you been on pause too long? Resume your purpose: growth, inspiration, knowledge, reserve to share... God directs us in Scripture, "Study to show yourself approved unto to God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed." A useful tool to help you in Bible study is our free online Bible Institute (BBNBI.org). Of course, it too requires purpose, action and commitment. If you have questions or need assistance you can reach us at BBNBI@bbnmedial.org.
