Are you glad 2016 is disappearing in your rear-view mirror? Some of you have dealt with some “biggies” this year: death of a loved one, serious health challenges, divorce, family disappointments, job loss, addictions, failures, unwanted changes, depression… Yet looking at these “life abusers” in your rear-view mirror as 2016 disappears from sight, can bring some fresh hope that God has some good news and help for you up ahead in 2017.
Some have made some good progress in 2016 and want that to continue into the new year. We all know that to make forward progress, we must make some changes. Growth requires change and change always demands of us risk and investment. Thankfully, big changes in our lives can result by making some small spiritual adjustments! God promises in His word that those who move toward Him, He will move toward them (James 4:7a). His Holy Spirit will help you begin and continue in these adjustments.
