March Gladness
Most sports fans know that the month of March brings the College Basketball Tournaments. The NCAA College Basketball Tournament has been dubbed, “March Madness.” Those playoff games began March 15. On April 4th when the winning team lifts that coveted trophy in jubilant celebration, you can be sure there was much preparation, sacrifice, and expense that preceded that moment. Almost every athlete will be there because of a scholarship. Those scholarships represent many sacrifices and investments that many persons have made for their benefit. A wise student recognizes he or she got to their pinnacle of success because many others in their lives made investments to help them arrive there.
BBN Bible Institute offers a free Bible education, an excess of 115 courses free of cost to any and every student. However, the wise student realizes their benefit is being made possible by the work, sacrifice, and expense of others. Each year in the Spring and Fall we have at BBN a Shareathon. We pause all regular programming on our 220+ stations and our Internet broadcasts to bring our listeners, students, and friends an opportunity to invest in and to perpetuate this ministry. It takes sacrificial and generous gifts of God’s people to make this ministry continue and the added blessing of our 105,000 students studying the Bible at no charge to them.
Unashamedly, we ask you to help us keep this missionary outreach going out on the airwaves and into cyber space of 170 countries in our world. Your gift/s this Spring will help us with numerous projects that will enable us to reach the masses of people with the word of God.
