Finding the Answer

Finding the Answer

It seems that people are searching for answers to life's toughest questions these days almost more than ever. There was a time when one knew where to look for solid answer's to life's most difficult questions, but it seems even those who ought to know are confused today. But this is not a new problem. In Israel during the time when Ezekiel was prophesying from Babylon, God said through him, "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks?" (Eze.34:2) Then in the New Testament, Paul had much the same condemnation against the supposed spiritual leaders of his day, "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them." (Acts 20:28-30)

So, when people come today, as their future begins to look bleak and their lives start to crumble, looking for answers, what do they find? Unfortunately, they often find the same thing Ezekiel and Paul warned against: supposed shepherds that should be feeding people God's Word,  but rather are promoting themselves.

We know that people are seeking answers because we chat with them everyday here at BBN. Not long ago, three people came to know Christ as Savior almost all at the same time and each one had almost come to the point where they saw no hope. However, once they are led to Christ and are born again, they need spiritual nourishment. A good solid Bible teaching church is a must for believers, especially those just getting started that cannot discern truth from error, but also those who have been walking with Christ for a long while. This is where our free Bible Institute comes in! We are thankful the Lord has provided this tool of ministry that comes alongside the local church to provide sound Bible teaching for those who have come to know Christ and now need nourishing spiritual fare by which to grow! You can count on the BBN BI to be what the believer needs, whether he is new to the Faith or has been walking with Christ for many years. Thanks for helping us to get the word to those who need it!
